Inkscape is a free vector graphics editor developed by The Inkscape Team that runs on Microsoft Windows, Mac OS and Unix-like operating system.
Inkscape allows users to create and edit vector graphic images, with capabilities similar to Adobe Illustrator and Corel Draw. It features an array of vector editing tools including markers, clones, alpha bending, and creates 3D geometric figures and text. Besides from graphics illustration, it can also make arrangements with the ability to embed images and set visual parameters such as brightness, color saturation and noise. Inkscape uses the W3C standard Scalable Vector Graphics (SVG) file format for created vector graphics as well as other file formats like JPEG, EPS, and TIF.
